Checklist Puppy

  • Love! The most important thing for a doodle= Love! You can buy all the toys and snacks in the world, but they only really care about getting as much love and attention as possible!
  • Make your home “puppy proof” (make sure your puppy can’t get anything he could nibble on or break, so pay attention on what’s on the floor and if she can reach stuff on the coffee/side table!)
  • Record the emergency number of the local veterinarian
  • Puppy gate and stair gate (make a temporary puppy bedroom of your hallway / scullery/ kitchen for a nice place to sleep instead of a bench. Puppy’s will be much happier (and quieter) if they can walk a little bit at night. If you have absolutely no possibility to create a sleeping space, then the bench may be approximately 120 cm x 75 cm x 80 cm. We are not big fans of working with a bench.
  • A piece of artificial grass for the sleeping place, so she can pee or poo at night
  • Water bowl for the sleeping place
  • Water bowl + food bowl
  • Tickpen Twister
  • Poop bags
  • Tag to the harness (with the name and your telephone number because if you have lost your puppy you can be called immediately. This is often faster than reading the chip!)
  • Deworming (Milbemax, Drontal, Panacur or Flubernol)
  • Anti flea and ticks products (scalibor or seresto)
  • Food (frozen meat)
  • Sudocreme (wounds and skin irritation)
  • Norrit (diarrhea)
